Alumni – Nominating Others

The ACYPL selects its delegates based on many factors, but one thing is essential:  that they are perceived as having a bright political future.  Individuals may be nominated by alumni, Members of Congress, Governors, State Party Chairs, or by one of the select organizations to which we have granted nominating rights.  Nominees must be between the ages of 25-40 at the time of travel, be directly involved in government or politics (i.e. state legislators, city council members, mayors, school board officials, judges, commissioners, etc.), and be perceived as rising political stars with the possibility of assuming a national leadership role.  For more information about the nomination process, or to obtain a nomination form, please contact Haleema Molberg at hmolberg@acypl.org or (202) 857-0999 ext. 20.
