ACYPL is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2015 Professional Fellows Program [PFP]. We are looking for political, policy, and civil society leaders between the ages of 25 and 40, from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam to participate in a 6-week intensive fellowship in the United States.

The 2015 PFP is linked with the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), an initiative that was launched by President Obama in 2013 which consists of promising young leaders aged 18-35 years from the ASEAN region.

Fellows will spend time in Washington, DC and will travel to one other city in the US for a 4-week fellowship centered around the US political system and legislative process, while also engaging in topics of professional interest. All fellows will receive guidance from an ACYPL alumnus, with the goal of strengthening their understanding of American governance.

The deadline for applications is December 1, 2014.
