In late July, six Japanese delegates from diverse political backgrounds journeyed to the US for a ten day trip to DC, North Carolina, and Washington to learn about the US political system and local governance. They also joined alumni and friends at our 19th Annual Alumni Reception in Seattle.

In early June, ACYPL hosted 215+ emerging leaders from 44 countries for the spring 2015 Professional Fellows Congress in Washington, DC. The week-long event included workshops, panel discussions, and professional trainings for all the young professionals.

In May, 7 American delegates traveled to China to participate in a 14-day exchange that took them to Beijing, Qinghai Province, and Shanghai. While there, they met with local and national officials, toured museums, visited universities, and learned about US-China trade, among many other activities

7 American delegates participated in a 14-day exchange to Japan where they met local and prominent political officials around the country. Visiting cities such as Tokyo, Tsukuba and Okayama, the group saw Mount Fuji, met famous Japanese painter Hakubun Fujishima, and visited historical landmarks.

This year, ACYPL celebrated its 35th anniversary China delegation! After a brief orientation in Washington, DC, the group traveled to Missouri and Colorado to meet with prominent local and political officials, and learn more about the US political landscape.
