US and Russia: International exchange over 44 years
Beginning on April 26, six geographically and politically diverse Russian emerging leaders will join us in the US for a 10-day exchange program organized by ACYPL and its partner, Russian NGO, the Youth Public Chamber. In 1971, the first ACYPL Russian delegation visited the US, with the hope that stereotypes could be broken and friendships could be formed between emerging US and former Soviet Union political leaders. Forty-four years later, ACYPL continues our work with our Russian partners to provide an opportunity for politically diverse individuals to engage with their international peers and explore common concerns and points of difference.
